- Polvilho Azedo (sour Tapioca starch)250 g
- Polvilho Doce (regular Tapioca starch)250 g
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Melted Butter (or 100ml vegetable oil)100 g
- Milk1 cup
- Shredded Cheese (mix of different cheeses such as mozzarella, gouda, cheddar, parmesan)300 g
- Eggs2
- Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients: tapioca starch and salt thoroughly.
- Warm the milk and melt the butter; ensure the milk is hot and butter is melted. If using oil, only warm the milk.
- Add the liquid mixture (milk + butter/oil) to the dry ingredients. Mix well, starting with a spoon and then switch to hands.
- Add all the cheese and eggs to the mixture. Mix everything well with your hands.
- Prepare a baking tray by adding baking paper or greasing it with oil and flour to prevent sticking.
- Form small balls of dough of similar size, leaving space between each.
- Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes until ready.
