- Mozzarella Prosciutto Sandwich
- Sourdough loaf1
- Arugula2 cups
- Lemon juice½ lemon, juiced
- Extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoons
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Pepper1 teaspoon
- Heirloom tomato1
- Prosciutto8 slices
- Fresh mozzarella cheese8 oz
- Balsamic glaze1 tablespoon
- Hot honey1 tablespoon
- Mozzarella Prosciutto Sandwich
- In a medium bowl, toss the arugula with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the heirloom tomato.
- Cut the sourdough loaf into four sections, and each section in half. Remove some of the bread from the center of each section.
- Layer seasoned arugula on the bottom slice of the bread, add a tomato slice, then top with prosciutto and torn mozzarella.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze and hot honey over the mozzarella before placing the top slice of bread to close the sandwich.
- Serve immediately.
