Fettuccine Alfredo is a classic Italian pasta dish featuring a rich and creamy Parmesan cheese sauce. Perfect for a comforting meal, it combines simple ingredients for remarkable flavor.

  • Fettuccine pasta12 oz
  • Unsalted butter1/2 cup (1 stick)
  • Heavy cream1 cup
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese2 cups
  • Garlic, minced2 cloves
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepperto taste
  • Fresh parsley, choppedoptional, for garnish
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but not browned.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
